Marie A. Nemeth, 92, Retired from Lorain Products, former member of St. Peter and St. Ladislaus Churches
Marie A. Nemeth, (nee Bereznay), age 92, of Huber Heights, Ohio, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton, Ohio, following a short illness. Born February 11, 1911 in Lorain, she lived here most of her life before moving to Huber Heights fifteen years ago.She was a graduate of Lorain High School Class of 1929B, and attended Lorain Business College. She retired from Lorain Products where she had worked as an assembler for many years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Huber Heights, Ohio and a former member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, and a former member of the Church of St. Peter, Lorain. She was also a member of the St. Ladislaus Sick Benefit Society.
Surviving are her sons, Stephen L. of Lorain, Andrew Sr. of Ashland, and Robert of Lorain, daughter Florence Pirrung, of Huber Heights, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, brothers Andrew of Arizona, John of Lorain, and Albert of Elyria Township, sisters Florence Tomansek of Lorain, Ann Oray of Lorain, Margaret Pekare of Lorain, and Kathleen Machovina of Grafton.
She was preceded death by her husband Steve, in 1956, parents Andrew and Elizabeth Bereznay, brother Joe Bereznay, and sister Betty Trepoy.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2003 from 5-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Joseph West, O.F.M. Conv., pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary, Cemetery, Lorain.
