Valerie Marie Gornall, 82, Enjoyed talking walks and doing ceramics

Valerie Marie (nee Timko) Gornall, 82, of Lorain died on Monday, June 2, 2003 at Elyria United Methodist Village, Elyria following a 2 month illness. She was a patient of New Life Hospice. Mrs. Gornall was born on December 25, 1920 in McKeesport, PA moving to Lorain in 1939.

She was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1938. She had been employed at Lorain's National Stove Works. She was most recently a homemaker. She is a member of St. Mary Church in Lorain and the St. Mary Women's Guild. She enjoyed walking and ceramics.

Mrs. Gornall is survived by her two daughters, Judith Gornall of Lorain, and Grace McClung of Englewood, Colorado, seven sons: Lawrence B. Gornall, Charles W. Gornall, Timothy J Gornall, all of Lorain, David A. Gornall of Charlotte, NC, Gregory T. Gornall of Pueblo, Colorado, John V. Gornall San Antonio, TX, Michael A. Gornall of Amherst, OH, her brother Eugene W. Timko of Troy, OH, retired Lorain Municipal Court Judge V. Paul Timko of Naples, FL, Thomas A. Timko of Lorain 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband John David Gornall on June 12, 2001 and her parents Michael and Ida (nee Dansak) Timko.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Thursday, June 5, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2003 at 9:00 am in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church in Lorain, OH. Valerie Marie Gornall will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH. The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, 309 7th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
