Martha Jane Pritchett, 50, Enjoyed scuba diving with her husband
Martha Jane Pritchett (nee Myers), 50 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, passed away Monday, June 9, 2003 at EMH Regional Medical Center ER, Elyria following a brief illness.She was born December 9, 1952 in Oberlin where she was raised and graduated from Oberlin High School with the class of 1970. She has been a resident of Elyria for the last 17 years.
Mrs. Pritchett attended Michigan State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Social work from Ashland University. She was employed for five years at the East Hartland Circle as the Director of Public Affairs. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Elyria and enjoyed scuba diving with her husband.
Survivors include her husband of ten years, Jason Robert Pritchett; her daughter Lindsey Katelyn Pritchett at home; and her brother Lawrence Myers of Washington, DC. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard R. and Margaret (nee Bryant) Meyers.
Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the Hemple Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis Frederiksen, pastor of First Congregational Church of Elyria, will officiate.
