Mary Elizabeth Loeser, 75, Enjoyed ballroom dancing, golfing, and fishing

Mary Elizabeth Loeser (nee Frey), 75, of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Avon Lake passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at her home following a short illness. Mary was born July 31, 1927 in Weston, West Virginia and moved to Clearwater twelve years ago coming from Avon Lake.

Before retiring in 1991, she was employed for 23 years as a waitress at the AquaMarine Resort in Avon Lake. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Clearwater, Florida and a former member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, golfing, and fishing.

Mrs. Loeser is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward "Eddie" Loeser, three sons, Raymond (Julie) and Dale (Priscilla) both of Avon Lake, and Ron (Leah) of Vermilion, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a sister, Florinda Dodson of Baltimore, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Catherine (nee Droppleman) Frey and five brothers.

Friends may call the at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2003. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Timothy J. O'Connor, pastor of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake will officiate. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to the Hospice of the Florida Sun Coast, 300 East Bay Dr. Largo, FL 33770.
