Josephine May Lindsey, 72, Machine Operator

Josephine May Lindsey age 72 of Grafton passed away Wednesday morning, June 18, 2003, in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a long illness.

She was born Wednesday October 15, 1930 in McClellandtown, Pa., living in Eaton Twp. for over 40 years. She was a member of North Eaton Baptist Church and a member of Christian Unity Church in Eaton Twp. for many years.

Mrs. Lindsey was employed by General Motors, Fisher Body, in Elyria as a machine operator for nine years. Mrs. Lindsey enjoyed raising long hair chihuahua's, and caring for her family home.

She is survived by 1 Daughter Debra Bazan of Brunswick, Ohio, 2 Sons Robert Lindsey Jr. of Elyria, Ohio, Larry Lindsey of Elyria, Ohio, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and 1 Brother Charles Newcomer of Amend, Pa.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1999, her parents John & Josephine Newcomer, and 3 Brothers.

Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Friday, June 20, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with funeral services Saturday at 10:30am in the funeral home with Rev Denver Daniels pastor of Christian Unity Church in Eaton Twp. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Avon, Ohio.
