Thyra J. Cochran, 44, Enjoyed crafts and riding motorcycles
Thyra J. Cochran, age 44, of Lorain, died on Friday, June 20, 2003 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following an extended illness.She was born on April 21, 1959 in Lorain, where she has been a lifelong resident. Thyra graduated from Lorain High School in 1977.
She was employed at Century Telephone for a number of years. She enjoyed crafts and riding motorcycles.
She is survived by her fiancé, John Bauer of Lorain, brothers Greg, Doug, and John Cochran all of Lorain, sisters: Micki Cochran of Elyria and Pam Collins, of Lorain, and 3 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Therill Cochran in 2002 and Joan (nee Darmafall) in 1989.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 22, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Joseph West, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
