Eleanor E. Badners, 91, Enjoyed needle crafts and sewing
Eleanor E. Badners, (nee Youskievicz) 91, of Circleville, formerly of Vermilion, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in Brown Memorial Nursing Home, Circleville, Ohio.She was born July 20, 1911 in Cleveland, Ohio and had lived in Painesville and Florida until 1970 when she moved to Vermilion. She has lived in Circleville since 2000.
She worked as a clerk for 9 years at Cleveland Trust, Painesville. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, and the Golden Agers of Vermilion and AARP. She enjoyed needle crafts and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter Eleanor R. Rhoades, 6 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1970 and a son Thomas in 1986, her parents Michael and Catherine (nee Wvrobleski) Youskievicz and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Friday, June 27, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. in the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion where the Altar and Rosary Society will say the rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Prayers will be said Saturday, June 28, 2003 in the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion at 9:00 a.m. Father Steve Blum, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
