Ida A. Latsnic, 80, Enjoyed all forms of crafts and being with her family

Ida A. Latsnic (nee Mannarelli), age 80, of Lorain, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center following an extended illness. She was born September 17, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio and had been a resident of Lorain since her childhood.

Mrs. Latsnic was a graduate of Lorain High School and had been employed for a number of years as an assembler for the former Lorain Stove Works. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church whose interests included all forms of crafts, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include daughters: Mrs. Michael (Maureen) Negulescu and Cheryl Arroyo both of Avon Lake, a son Edward, 8 grandchildren, and a brother Alfred Mannarelli residing in Tustin, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 2001, by an infant daughter, by her parents, John and Julia (nee Fabrizio) Mannarelli, and sister Anastasia Profant.

Family funeral services were held Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Charles Henkle, O.F.M. Conv., associate pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain officiating. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests mass intentions in her memory to St. Anthony Church or to the Father Mario Ross Recreation Center in care of the church, 1305 East Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
