Elizabeth L. Rounds, 78, Avid bowler, enjoyed camping, and doing crafts
Elizabeth L. Rounds, age 78, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness.She was born January 13, 1925 in Lorain. She had been a life-long resident of Lorain.
She was a beautician, owner and operator of Betty's Beauty in Lorain for 26 years. She later worked as a custodian for the Lorain High School System. She was a member of St. John's Church in Lorain.
Elizabeth was an avid bowler. She enjoyed camping all year round. She loved flowers and birds and was very artistic, enjoying crafts such as needlepoint, crochet, painting, and woodworking.
Survivors include her sons Daniel Rounds of Lorain, Dean David Rounds of Lorain, and Douglas J. Rounds of South Boardman, Michigan, her daughter Patricia Morris of Vermilion, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a sister Geraldine Cendrosky of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Bertha Uehlein, by grandson Jason Rounds and brothers Harold, Robert, and Bud Uehlein.
Friends may visit Friday, July 18, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Ohio. Funeral services will take place Friday, July 18, 2003 at the funeral home with Rev. Mr. Luis A. Maldonado officiating.
