Ruth A. Quaiser, 85, US Army Veteran, enjoyed crafts
Ruth A. Quaiser (nee Martin), age 85, of Lorain, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Quaiser was born July 16, 1918 in Buffalo, New York and was a resident of Lorain for the past 45 years.A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mrs. Quaiser served as a Medical Technician from March to October of 1945. She also worked as an aircraft assembler briefly before entering the army.
She enjoyed crafts.
Mrs. Quaiser is survived by her stepdaughter, Gail Curtis of North Carolina and cousins: Howard Aigner, John Aigner, and Arthur Aigner, all of Buffalo. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob M. Quaiser on December 7, 1997, son Michael Quaiser and parents Ernest Martin and Mary (nee Burkhard) Martin.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst Township. The Reverend William Tumbleson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
