Anna Marie Podulka, 92, Homemaker, and helped care for the family farm
Anna Marie Podulka, age 92, of Grafton Township passed away in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born Friday, January 10, 1911 in Niwislza, Poland making her way to the United States in 1937.She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Grafton for many years. Mrs. Podulka lived in Lorain and Medina County most of her life, where she was a homemaker and helped her husband Stanley care for the family farm.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Jean Matusik of Grafton, Ohio and Helen Kolson of Phoenix, Arizona, 4 sons: Eugene Pleban of Grafton, Ohio Walter Pleban of Elyria, Ohio Michael and John Podulka of Grafton, Ohio, 15 grand children and 16 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her first husband Walter Pleban in 1946 and her second husband Stanley Podulka in 2002.
Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home, 1021 Main St. Grafton, Sunday, July 20, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place in the Assumption Catholic Church 1033 Elm St. Grafton, on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. John Seabold, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton.
