Gregory P. Keene, 21, Enjoyed dancing, music, sports, playing baseball and basketball

Born December 25, 1981 in Lorain, he has lived here his entire life. In 2000, he graduated from Southview High School, Lorain.

He worked as a cook and server at Denny's in Elyria for the past 2 years. Prior to that he worked for Marconi Communications, Lorain, as an assembler, and County Kitchen, Elyria, as a server and cook.

He enjoyed dancing, music, sports, playing baseball and basketball.

Surviving is his parents, Douglas and Ann (nee Guthrie) Keene, of Lorain, brothers, Gyles and Douglas Jr., both of Lorain, half brothers, Kyle Keene and Andrew Keene, both of Lorain, his niece Hope Keene, of Lorain, that he helped raise while his brother served in the War in Iraq.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Charles Keesee, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, Elyria. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
