Linda M. Harrington, 55, Lifetime Sheffield Lake Resident
Linda M. Harrington, (nee Bober) age 55, of Sheffield Lake, died Sunday, July 20, 2003 in the emergency room of Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center West, Lorain, following a sudden illness.Born April 27, 1948 in Lorain, she has lived in Sheffield Lake her entire life.
She was a 1966 graduate of Brookside High School, Sheffield.
She was employed in the Sheffield Lake School System for 13 years where she had worked with the autistic children for the past 6 years. Prior to that, she worked for Gold Circle in Elyria, and Weber Gauge, in Westlake.
She was a member of the Ohio Education Association and National Education Association, and enjoyed bowling.
Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Philip, son Korey, of Sheffield Lake, daughters, Kristy Harrington, of Sheffield Lake, and Kelly Harrington, of Lorain, 2 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Bober, and Florence (nee Levan) Bober.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. The family will also receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Stephen Shields, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
