Lucy Anna Brehm, 94, Homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, and sewing

Lucy Anna Brehm, age 94, of Grafton passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2003 in the Elyria United Methodist Village after a lengthy illness. She was born Friday April 30, 1909 in Chatham, Virginia and lived in the Grafton area since 1941.

She was a member of the Grafton United Methodist Church for 60 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family home, sewing, crocheting, and in the 1950's she made the cheerleaders' uniforms for Grafton School.

She is survived by three daughters Norma Fildes of Grafton, Ohio, Nancy Storrow of Wellington, Ohio, and Carol Smith of Hull, Georgia, son Ray Brehm of Novelty, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Ray in 1967, her parents Paul and Virginia Watson, a grandson Paul Fildes in 1993, brothers Tom & Dillard Watson, and three sisters, Carrie Wasem, Elizabeth Bowen, & Milred Dealba.

Friends may call in the Grafton United Methodist Church, 973 Mechanic St. Grafton, on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Cake, pastor of Belden United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township
