Vincent S. Kozloski, 76, Ohio Edison Retiree, WW II Veteran

Photo of Vincent S. Kozloski Vincent S. Kozloski, 76, of Lorain, died Friday, July 25, 2003 at his home. He was born August 13, 1926 in Plains, Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain for the past 60 years.

Mr. Kozloski was a graduate of Lorain High School. He served with the US Army during World War II in the Philippine Islands as a radio repairman.

He worked as a certified electrician at the Ohio Edison power plant in Lorain for 42 years retiring in 1989. He earned an ICS electrical certification.

Mr. Kozloski was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain and the Ohio Edison men's Club.

He enjoyed model trains, boating, stamp collecting, woodcrafting and was a certified scuba diver.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alice (nee Ferber), daughter Kathryn Brocker of Canfield, son John Kozloski of Orlando, Florida, daughter Janice Pedriata of West Chester, Ohio, 11 grandchildren, brother Hank Kozloski of Lorain, sister Christine Simonovich of Lorain and brother Robert Kozloski of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his son Keith Kozloski in 1990, parents Walter and Mary (nee Jakuboski) Kozloski and brother Louis Kozloski.

A memorial mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will officiate.

Memorial contributions can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 401 Tomahawk, Maumee, Ohio 43537.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
