Karen J. Proctor, 49, Enjoyed crocheting and cooking
Karen J. Proctor, (nee Petroskey), age 49, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in the Emergency Room at Community Health Partners Hospital, West following a lengthy illness.Born on June 29, 1954 in Lorain, she had lived in this area most of her life. Karen was a 1973 graduate of Admiral King High School, Lorain. She was employed for many years at Chris' Restaurant, Lorain. Karen enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Kenneth Proctor, of Lorain, a sister Dolores Manofski of Amherst and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley Petroskey in 1988 and Angeline A. (nee Raccio) Petroskey in 1975.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2003 from 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Private family services will be held. Pastor Jeffrey Smale, pastor of Victory Baptist Church, will be officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
