Lucille Catherine Norton, 84, Loved cats and jigsaw puzzles

Born March 11, 1919 in Amherst, she attended the South Amherst Schools. She has been a lifetime resident of Amherst.

She was employed at the former Western Automatic, now Moen Faucet Co. in Elyria for 40 years, retiring in 1981 as an inspector. She loved cats, jigsaw puzzles, going on tours, and doing yard work.

Survivors include her brother Elton Fazey of South Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Seymour O. Norton on December 23, 1983, by her parents Thomas and Clara Fazey (nee Mackert), and by her sister Frances Fazey.

Friends may call Friday, August 8, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Pemberton, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Amherst, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.
