Steve Kozma, 88, Equipment Repairman

Steve Kozma, age 88, of Lorain died Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Golden Acres Lorain County Home in Amherst following a brief illness.

He was born on April 28, 1915 in St. Clairsville, Ohio and has lived in Lorain most his life.

He worked as an equipment repairman in the fuel and power division of the US Steel Company in Lorain for 31 years, retiring in 1967.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing. He also was a tool collector.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Frances Kozma (nee Zvosecz), of Lorain, sisters, Elizabeth Kozma of Cleveland, Velma Mihalchek of Lorain and Louise Molnar of Grafton; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Barbara (nee Hegedus) Kozma and a sister, Helen Kozma.

Friends may call on Friday, August 15, 2003 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. The Reverend Simmon Nekic, pastor of St. Vitus Croation Church in Lorain, will officiate.

Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
