Ernestine Flagle-Gaddy, 69, Enjoyed country and Christian music

Ernestine Flagle-Gaddy, age 69, of Miami, Oklahoma, formerly of Lorain, died August 15, 2003 at her residence, following a lengthy illness.

Born on May 7, 1934 in Pike County, Kentucky, Mrs. Flagle-Gaddy had lived in Oklahoma for the past year, coming from Lorain. She had lived in Morgantown, West Virginia during her childhood years. While in Lorain she had been employed at the former Bob's Doughnuts for many years and then at the former Lorain Toy Co. for a number of years. She was a member of the Elyria Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and listening to country and Christian music.

She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Flagle of Lorain, two sons, William Flagle of Commerce, Oklahoma, and Andre Flagle of Chicago, Illinois, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Russell Flagle, and her second husband Joseph Gaddy, parents Noah and Drucy (nee Blair) Chapman, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.

Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
