Carl E. Jeffords, 54, Vietnam Veteran, former Ford employee
Carl E. Jeffords, 54, son of Evelyn Tennihill Jeffords of Amherst and the late Charles H. Jeffords, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at his residence.He was born May 31, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Jeffords was a 1967 graduate of Lorain High School and a Vietnam Army Veteran. He formally worked for the Ford Motor Plant in Lorain.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his wife Judith Kos Jeffords on February 4, 2003. He is survived by his mother, daughters Tracy Jeffords (Dean Woolum) of Thurman, Carrie (Jeremy) Clifton of Stoutsville, and Megan Jeffords at home, grandchildren, Steven and Britney Silcott, brother Ralph Jeffords of Lorain, sisters Patricia Weaver of Lorain, Rebecca (Ken) Miloda of Amherst, Nikki (Mark) Majcher of Lorain, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Elk Cemetery in McArthur, Ohio with Rev. Walter Goble officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at Garrett Funeral Home, McArthur.
