Mary Tucker, 83, Enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and gardening
Mary Tucker, (nee Coleman), age 83, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at her residence, following a brief illness.Born on August 30, 1919 in Osceola, Pennsylvania. Mary has lived most of her life in Lorain.
Mary had been employed at the former Lorain Products, now known as Marconi's where she had been an assembler for the communications department for many years, retiring in 1978. She also had been employed at Rebman's Bowling Alley, Lorain for a number of years.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Allen Tucker, two nephews, Francis Coleman of Avon and Ronnie Clapper of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, three nieces, Irma Hardesty of Nova, Ohio, Veronica Paghi and Vicky Landers, both of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Belle (nee Neiman) Coleman, two brothers, and four sisters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Keesee, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, Elyria, officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
