William J. Prinnier, 58, Enjoyed building matchstick whaling ships
William Joseph Prinnier, age 58, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at his residence following a lengthy illness while under the care of the New Life Hospice.Born on April 27, 1945 in Waltham, Massachusetts, he has lived in this are for the past 40 years.
He was employed at Aramark as a porter for the Lorain Ford Plant for the past 29 years, retiring on August 30, 2002.
William enjoyed building matchstick whaling ships.
He is survived by his loving mate of 23 years, Sally Sagert, two daughters, Deborah Ray and Nicole Rehm, both of Lorain, nine grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel Prinnier of Lorain and Francis A. Prinnier, Jr., of Boston, Massachusetts, two sisters, Donna Dixon of Bona Fay, Florida and Cheryl Daugherty of Lorain, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Eleanor (nee Ryan) Prinnier.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain.
The family suggests a gift be made to New Life Hospice Center to help support hospice and bereavement programs, 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
