Elinor L. Bigler, 69, Enjoyed reading and sailing
Elinor L. Bigler, 69 of Vermilion, died Thursday, August 28, 2003 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain with her loved family members at bedside.
She was born July 3, 1934 in Spraggs, PA.
She worked as a nurse supervisor for over 30 years at Lorain St. Joseph Hospital retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Lorain County Beekeepers Association. She enjoyed reading, dancing, flowers, birds and sailing.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Arnold Bigler of Vermilion; daughter, Heather Weber McDougal of Amherst; sons, Shawn Weber of Ashland, and Drew Weber of Vermilion; step daughters, Janice Bigler Mussler of Nederland, CO, Mona Bigler Fisher of West Point, NY, Lois Weber Wynn of Sandusky; 14 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Other survivors include sisters, Marjorie Joyce Simmons of Cleveland, and Willa A. Cree of Waynesburg, PA; and a brother, William L. Dodge of Parson, WV.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Melvin and Kathryn (nee Rush) Dodge, brother, David Lyle Dodge, and a sister, Barbara Joanne McDougal.
