Anna Bezgatzki, 75, Considered an Aunt to many children

She was born March 10, 1928 in Lorain. She was a life long resident.

Mrs. Bezgatzki retired from Saint Joseph Hospital, Lorain from the laundry in 1980 she worked there for over 20 years.

She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lorain where she was a member of the Apostleship of Prayer.

She was considered an aunt to many of the neighborhood children.

Among the survivors are her sisters Stella Mathewson of Lorain and Julia Thomas of Lady Lake, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Walter Bezgatzki in 1991, parents Theodore and Rose (nee Zadorozny) Yazek, sisters Kate Striker, Mary Sharkey and Helen Naymik

Divine Liturgy Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, East 31st Street and Charleston Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Steven M. Paliwoda, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
