Robert C. Hannan Jr., 61, Retired from First Energy in 2001
Robert C. Hannan, Jr., age 61, of Avon Lake, formerly of Cleveland, passed away, Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at St. John West Shore Hospital, following complications of surgery.Mr. Hannan was born, July 28, 1942 in Cleveland and had lived in Avon Lake his entire life. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Michael High School, Cleveland and had worked for First Energy as a Lineman for 32 years, retiring in January 2001.
He is survived by daughter Dawn M. Hannan of Martinsburg, West Virginia and son Robert J. Hannan of San Diego, California. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Robert, Morgan and Corey. He is also survived by four sisters: Louise Herrick of North Olmsted, Janet Hannan of Westlake, Eileen Colarossi of Brookpark and Marian Hannan of Cleveland, three brothers, William Hannan of Brookpark, Terrence Hannan of Middleburg Heights and Denis of Lakewood. He is preceded in death by a brother James and his parents, Robert C. Sr., and Helen (nee Hornak) Hannan.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, Saturday, September 6, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. until the service at the funeral home at 12:00 noon.
