Adella E. Bring, 92, Enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and her family
Adella E. Bring (nee Kelling), 92, of Sheffield Village, died Saturday, September 27, 2003 at the Life Care Center of Elyria after a lengthy illness.She was born July 8, 1911 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident of Sheffield Village.
Mrs. Bring worked at the Ohio Turnpike Vermilion Valley Plaza in Amherst as a cashier for 17 years.
She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Sheffield Village and the church Altar and Rosary Society in which she served as president for 20 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and her family.
She is survived by her son Clifford Red Bring of North Ridgeville, daughters Virginia Ginny Guy of Sheffield Village and Kitty O’Connor of Lorain, 13 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren, six great great granddaughters, sisters Coletta Rogala of Lorain and Gladys Kopronica of Amherst and brothers Chester Kelling of Lorain and Adolph Kelling of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Albert Bring in 1994, granddaughter Pennie Ackerman in 2000, parents Conrad and Elizabeth (nee Alten) Kelling, sister Loretta Davidson and brothers Wilbur Kelling and Alfred Kelling.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the St. Teresa Altar and Rosary Society will pray the rosary Monday at 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1878 Abbe Road, Sheffield Village. The Rev. Robert Franko, pastor of St. Teresa and the Rev. Edward Luca, will concelebrate. Burial will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery, Sheffield Village.
