Adella Budziak, 73, St. Peter Parishioner

Adella Budziak (nee Pragacy), age 73, of Lorain, died Thursday, October 2, 2003 while under the care of New Life Hospice at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Budziak was born in Cleveland, Ohio and had been a resident of Lorain since 1978.

A parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain, she was formerly employed by Leece-Neville Automotive Systems in Cleveland.

She is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Joseph (Mikki) Sechkar of Lorain, granddaughters: Kelly Townsend and Colleen Vargas, four great grandchildren, and a sister: Helen Bococh residing in Brooklyn, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester in 1985, parents: Adam and Mary (nee Gavryssioszka) Pragacy, sister: Anna Kohut, and a brother: Stanley Pragacy.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Catholic Church of Saint Peter, 36501 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests memorials in her memory to the CHP Foundation, Budziak/Sechkar Memorial Endowment Fund, 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
