Robert W. Schwartz Sr., 67, Retired from Ridge Tool in 2001

Mr. Schwartz was born on May 8, 1936 in Lorain, Ohio and lived here his entire life. He was a 1954 graduate of Lorain High School and a US Army veteran. He retired in 2001 from Ridge Tool as a printer. He enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles. He loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Karen L. (nee McFarland) Schwartz to whom he was married on June 2, 1962, his two sons, James K. Schwartz of Elyria, and Robert W. Schwartz Jr. of Canistota, South Dakota, 5 grandchildren, and his brother Homer Schwartz of Elyria.

Mr. Schwartz is preceded in death by his parents Frank W. and Mearl (nee Glick) Schwartz.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio on Monday, October 6, 2003 from 2-4 to 7-9 pm.

Funeral services will be held on October 7, 2003 at 10:30 am in St. John's United Church of Christ, 715 Reid Ave., Lorain, Ohio with Rev. Robert Smith, pastor officiating.

Robert W. Schwartz will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township, Ohio.
