Ethel R. Rushton (nee Rosso) 91, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, October 6, 2003 in Tandum Health Care Center in Vero Beach, FL.She was born April 1, 1912 in Lorain, OH. She lived in Lorain until 1996, when she moved to be with her son in Vero Beach, FL.
She was a homemaker and a member of Catholic Church of St. Peter.
Survivors include her son, Tim Rushton of Vero Beach, FL; 2 grandchildren; sisters Frances Kobylka of Lorain, OH, Jennie Veinfortner of Olmstead Falls, OH, and Rosemary Zehnder of Orange, CT; and a brother, Joseph Rosso of Lorain, OH.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Rushton (1971); parents, Louis and Anna Rosso; brothers, Sam, Louis, James and John Rosso; and a sister, Lena Kostin.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 from 5-9 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain.
Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend David Woost, Associate Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
