Elisabeth Telep, 80, Enjoyed art and painting
Elisabeth Ann Telep (Jameson), 80, died Friday, October 10, 2003 at Century Oaks Center in Middleburg Heights following an extended illness.She was born February 28, 1923 in Detroit, MI and moved to Lorain in 1999. She has also lived in Surfside, SC, Medina and Hinckley, Ohio.
She enjoyed art and painting and while attending the University of Michigan, her paintings were displayed as student art at the Detroit Museum of Art.
She is survived by her sons: Don Duell of Amherst and Michael M. Telep of Strongsville; daughter Amy E. D'Aquila of Holden, Mass.; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Myron Telep (1992); brothers, Bob, Jim, and Michael Mehoke; and 1 great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2003 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dovin Funeral Home 2701 Elyria Ave., in Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
