Jacinto Sandoval, 60, Avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan

Jacinto Sandoval, age 60, of Lorain, died on Friday, October 10, 2003 at his home following a sudden illness.

Born on August 17, 1943 in Mercedes, Texas he moved to Lorain in 1958. He previously lived in North Liberty, Indiana.

He was a 1962 graduate of Admiral King High School.

Jacinto was currently employed as a welder at Diamond Products, Elyria for the past 4 years. Prior to this he was employed at US Steel as a welder for over 20 years.

He was a devoted Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

He is survived by his two sons, Ron Sandoval of Lakewood and Tony Sandoval of Lorain, daughters Tanya Garcia and Michelle Sandoval, both of Lorain, nine grandchildren, brothers Max Sandoval of Mission, Texas, Ysidro Sandoval of Niles, Michigan, sisters Romana Amador of Lorain Ofelia Martinez and Luci Perez both of Holland, Michigan.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Mauricio and Mariana (nee Alejandro) Sandoval, two brothers, Steve Sandoval and Emilio Sandoval.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2003 from 6-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 a.m. Deacon Lou Maldonado, administrator of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
