Carol L. McClung, 69, Enjoyed working crossword puzzles
Carol L. McClung (nee Lundberg), age 69, of North Ridgeville, formerly of Sheffield Lake, passed away, Sunday, October 12, at the Renaissance, Cleveland Clinic Hospice, following a lengthy illness.Mrs. McClung was born, October 13, 1933 in Salem, Ohio and had lived in North Ridgeville, since 19992.
Mrs. McClung was a homemaker, a 1952 graduate of Avon Lake High School. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Avon Lake and the church’s Anna Circle. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crafts and going out to eat.
Her husband Curtis A. McClung, whom she married in 1954 passed away in 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Sue Sutherland (William) of Magnolia, Texas and Cindy Lundberg (Roy) of North Ridgeville, and a son Jay A. McCLung of Tyler, Texas. Other survivors include six grandchildren: Christina, Jennifer, Renee, Nicole, Kevin, and Megan, two great grandchildren, Heidi and Ryleigh, sister Doris Swanson of Westlake, and three brothers, Roy E. Lundberg of Avon Lake, Robert Lundberg of Avon Lake and Donald Lundberg of Lorain. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by her parents Henry G. and Irene (nee Carpenter) Lundberg.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, Wednesday, October 15, 2003 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 32747 Lake Road, Avon Lake, Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon.
