Nina Lou Johnson, 76, Enjoyed spending time with family
Nina Lou Johnson (nee Penny), 76, of Vermilion, died Thursday, October 16, 2003 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.She was born April 26, 1927 in Mayking, KY. She was a Lorain resident until moving to Vermilion 33 years ago.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Vermilion. She was a former member of the Vermilion VFW Post #7576 Auxiliary. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Dreama Lynn Enderle of Vermilion; 2 granddaughters; 2 great-granddaughters; and a brother Roy L. Penny, Lenoir, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry on January 26, 1998; 2 sisters, Goldie Hart and Rebecca Foster; 4 brothers, Rudell, Clyde, Raymond and Claude Penney; and her parents, Guy and Mary (nee Crawford) Penney.
The family will receive friends in Sunday, October 19, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street in Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday, October 20, 2003, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Linro Mead and Mark Weaver co-officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
