Donald J. Brill, 37, Enjoyed farming, baseball, and his children

Photo of Donald J. Brill Donald J. Brill, 37, of Vermilion, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 as a result of an auto accident in Norwalk, Ohio.

He was born June 7, 1966 in Amherst, Ohio and has been a lifelong Brownhelm resident.

He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Americut Coring and Sawing Inc., of Vermilion the past two years. He had also worked for Herk Excavating in Vermilion for 12 years and had worked for the Local Laborers Union at Four Seasons Garden Center.

he graduated from Firelands High School in 1984. He enjoyed farming, baseball, and his children.

Survivors include his wife of three years, Sharon Brill (nee Demyan), two sons, Alexander and Zachary Brill, and step daughter Brittany Goodwin, all at home. Also surviving him is his mother Linda L. Kelley of Brownhelm, sister Katherine M. Brill of Brownhelm, two uncles, two aunts, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father Alfred Warren Brill in 1998.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Following visitation a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Louis Bertoni will officiate. The Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct Military Services.

Private interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery.
