Michael Charles Woods, 42, of Sheffield Township, died on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at Ohio Extended Care Center in Lorain following a short illness.He was born on June 19, 1961 in Lorain. He lived in Atlanta, Georgia before moving back to Lorain 16 years ago.
Mr. Woods attended Clearview High School. He worked as a laborer for Larry’s Construction & Roofing Company for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Woods; his parents, Charles C. and Donna R. (nee Thomas) Woods of Sheffield Township; a son, Christopher of Georgia; a daughter, Ladonna Woods of Georgia; his grandparents, Cecil and Mary Jane Woods of Charleston, West Virginia; 2 brothers: Robert Woods of Sheffield Lake, and Danny Kovar of Amherst; and a sister, Diane Kovar of Amherst.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Aney Thomas; and a brother James Woods.
The family will receive friends in Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., in Lorain. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Reverend Ricardo Johnson of the Church On The Rise in Bay Village, officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
