John C. Pressick, 71, US Navy Veteran

Mr. Pressick was born April 4, 1932 in Lorain. He was a graduate of Lorain High School and the Citadel. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was also a retired corn research chemist for Best Foods.

Surviving him is his daughter, Lisa Boone of Clarendon Hills, IL; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pressick is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; parents, John and Dorothy (nee Clark); a sister, Joann Pressick Craig; and a half brother, Joseph Hardy.

Graveside services will be held on November 4 at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain with the Reverend Dale Warrick, pastor of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, officiating.
