Wesley M. Nimon, 88, Owner of the Nimon Insulation Company

Wesley M. Nimon, 88, of Oberlin and formerly of Lorain died on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at his home unexpectedly.

Mr. Nimon was born on February 7, 1915, in Adair, Iowa and lived in Lorain for many years. He was the owner/operator of the Nimon Insulation Company on Oberlin Avenue with his wife Beatrice from 1945 until retirement in 1976.

He was a member of the Kipton Community Church, Lorain Lions Club, and F & AM Black River Masonic Lodge 786. (Formerly Lodge # 552) He enjoyed golf, bowling and gardening.

Mr. Nimon is survived by his wife Beatrice L. (nee Bilby) Nimon, daughter, Beverly Ruth Schramm of Oberlin with whom he made his home, his two sons, James W. Nimon of Lorain and Kenneth A. Nimon of Oberlin, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marion A. and Ruth R. (nee Long) Nimon, brothers LeRoy and Douglas Nimon.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio, on Thursday, November 6, 2003, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., concluding with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on November 7, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. in Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals with Rev. Lee Stull, pastor of Kipton Community Church officiating.

Wesley M. Nimon will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township, Ohio. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Kipton Community Church, 511 Church Street, Kipton, Ohio 44049.
