Kae (Horvath) Peters, 58, Enjoyed cooking, old movies, and friends and family
Nordella Kae (Horvath) Peters (nee Manning), age 58, of Lorain, died Friday November 7, 2003 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born August 1, 1945 in Oxnard, California, she was a resident of Lorain since 1979.
A four-year employee of the Lorain City Schools, she worked in the schools maintenance department. She enjoyed trips to Tennessee, motorcycles, cooking, old movies, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband and companion, Matthew R. Peters of Lorain, daughters Sheri Kae Haskell and Telesha Novay Horvath, both of Toledo, daughter and son in law Kari Sue and Orlando Gonzalez of Toledo, and son Michael Wade Horvath of Elyria, adored grandchildren: Dwain, Danelle, and Phillip Haskell, Kadi and Mathew Gonzalez, and Mattie Garcia, sister Elaine, and brothers: Nick, Chuck, and Martin Manning.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter Olivia Simone, father George D. Manning, mother Ora Louella (nee Compton) Wilson, and brother David Manning.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain, with the Reverend Peter Pritchard officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in her memory to New Life Hospice, 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
