Zack Quillen, 67, Enjoyed fishing and dancing
Zack Quillen, 67 of Lorain died on Saturday morning, November 8, 2003 at Community Health Partners Hosp. & Surgical Ctr. in Lorain, OH following a brief illness.
Mr. Quillen was born on August 31, 1936 in Neon, KY and has lived in Lorain since 1959. He was a retired spray painter for Ford Motor retiring in 1991. Mr. Quillen and his wife owned and operated the former Blue Marlin Lounge in Lorain from 1995-1999.
He enjoyed fishing and dancing. Mr. Quillen is survived by his wife of 7 years Joann (nee Bowens) Quillen, daughters, Carol Cambria and Linda Hoover both of Sheffield Lake, Diane Cart of Louisville, KY, 4 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his sister Jeanette Gibson of Lorain, his brothers Cann Quillen of Jacksonville, FL, James Quillen of Sheffield Lake, and Mackie Quillen of Cainsboro, VA.
He is preceded in death by a son Zack Wayne Quillen, his parents Crit and Mary (nee Howell) Quillen, a grandson Anthony Cambria and a sister Louise Goodman.
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Monday, November 10, 2003 from 2-4 and to 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on November 11, 2003 at 10:30 am in Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH with Brother Everett Gibson, pastor of Full Gospel Tabernacle officiating.
Zack Quillen will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Twp., OH. Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association Of Ohio's South Shore, 226 St Rt 61 E, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, American Cancer Society, 43099 North Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035 or Northern Ohio Heart Center, through the funeral home.
