Dennis F. Karcher, 64, Enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles
Dennis Francis Karcher, age 64, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003 in his home after a long illness. He was born September 26, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio and lived in Elyria most of his life.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eaton Township for two years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the 1950's and was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for 35 years. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, country western music, and his movie collection.
He is survived by two daughters, Colette Warrens of Elyria, Ohio and Cheryl Harrison of Rochester, Ohio, and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Hartman, and a brother Bobbie Karcher.
There will be no visitation, as a memorial service will be held at a later date. Local arrangements were handled by the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton
