Jason Dennis Alley, 25, Enjoyed computers, science, and music

Jason Dennis Alley, age 25, of Avon Lake, formerly of Lakewood, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2003 following a gallant fight with leukemia.

Jason was born February 24, 1978 in Cleveland.

He was a 1997 graduate of Avon Lake High School where he was a member of the Concert and Marching Bands. He worked as the Assistant Manager of BP Connect, Avon Lake. Jason was a member of the Christian Temple of Christ Church, Lorain. He was described by his family as a person who loved working with computers, science, and music.

Jason is survived by his mother and stepfather: Cheryl (nee Moell) and Richard Lewis; father and stepmother: Ronald and Jane Alley of Cleveland; brothers: Ryan Alley of Avon Lake and Brendan Alley of Cleveland; and a sister Krista Alley of Cleveland. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Marilyn Buckholz (Bruce) of Bay Village, Lynda Shadraker (Paul) of Oak Park, Ill., Robert Moell of Parma, Jeff Alley (Virginia) of Monroe, NC and Richard Alley (Mary) of Sheffield Lake, as well as many cousins. Jason considered his pet cat “Mouse” a special buddy.

Friends may call the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel; 163 Avon-Belden Road, in Avon Lake, on Wednesday, November 19 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Bradley J. Donahue of the Christian Temple, Disciples of Christ Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmstead.
