Audrey Skidmore, 69, Enjoyed bowling and bingo
Audrey "S" Skidmore, age 69, of Grafton passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in New Life Hospice Center in Lorain after a lengthy illness.She was born Friday, January 12, 1934 in Fines Creek North Carolina living in the Grafton area for the last 50 years. She was formerly employed by Plastic Components in North Ridgeville for 40 years on the assembly line.
Mrs. Skidmore enjoyed bowling and bingo.
She is survived by a daughter Diane Smith of LaGrange, Ohio, two sons, James D. Skidmore of Grafton, Ohio and Dan Skidmore of Wellington, Ohio, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, three sisters: Motel Stiles of Bessmer City, North Carolina Wilma Payne of Clyde, North Carolina, and Ada Clark of Ashville, North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her husband James in 1990, her parents Lawrence and Virginia Price, sister Eleanor Stiles, and a brother Norman Price.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Friday, November 22, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral services Saturday in the funeral home with Sister Rita Costello, Chaplin of New Life Hospice. Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery, LaGrange Township.
