Clair Marie Baechle, 98, Enjoyed traveling and animals

She was born November 29, 1904 in Richfield Township where she was raised and lived until she was 18 when she moved to Cleveland. She lived in Baltimore, Maryland for 44 years moving to Amherst in 1989 where she has lived since.

Miss Baechle worked for Martin Marietta Air Craft Co. now Lockheed Martin in Baltimore, as the head pay master in the Accounting Department. She was a volunteer at Amherst Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, nature, flowers and animals.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews including her niece, Dorothy Street who was her care giver.

She was precede in death by her brother, Edward Baechle; her sisters, Sister Helene Baechle, Sister Veronique Baechle, Cecilia Baechle and Helen Pheiffer; and by her parents Alphonse and Flora (nee Metz) Baechle.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 19 at 12 p.m. at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of choice.
