Grace E. Roberts, 90, Enjoyed cooking and her grandchildren

Photo of Grace E. Roberts Grace E. Roberts (nee Feiszli), 90, of Vermilion, died Thursday, November 20, 2003 in Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.

She was born August 26, 1913 in Vermilion, Ohio.

Mrs. Roberts had worked as a waitress at Helfrichs Restaurant in Vermilion. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational. She graduated from Vermilion High School in 1931. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Vermilion, the Marmaru Club of the United Church of Christ Congregational, and an active member in her early years of the P.T.A., and the Boy Scouts. She and her late husband were instrumental in organizing the Band Boosters. She also delivered Meals on Wheels. Grace enjoyed cooking and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters: Leslie Ennis and Lynn J. Hurd; and a son: Thomas W. Roberts, all of Vermilion; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Amos Feiszli of Vermilion.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George, in 1983; parents, John and Grace (nee Blair) Feiszli; two brothers: George and Clarence; and a sister: Norma Snyder.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 12:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, with the Reverend Wendell Brooker, pastor of the United Church of Christ Congregational, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
