Mildred M. "Millie" Comerford, 71, Enjoyed hunting and fishing
Mildred M. "Millie" Comerford (nee Brost), age 71, passed away Sunday November 23, 2003 at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland.She was born September 18, 1932 in Canton, Ohio and moved to Avon Lake in 1965. Millie graduated of McKinley High School, Canton and was employed as a cashier and sales clerk for Fisher Big Wheel in Avon Lake. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, Aerie No. 2275, Loudinville, Ohio. She enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.
Mrs. Comerford is survived by two daughters, Charemaine Kubas of Lakewood and Suzette Aamot (Mitch) of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Matthew, Alan, Nicole and Brandon; six brothers, Thomas Brost and Collins Brost both of Canton, Daniel Brost and Harry Brost both of Colorado and Buddy Brost and Pete Brost both of Tennessee; and three sisters, Mary Golembeski of Colorado and Margaret Ann Miller and Dorothy Kinsinger both of Canton; and her companion, James Kinzel of Avon Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Comerford (1977); her parents, Harry and Mildred (nee Peterman) Brost; two brothers, Ron Brost and Richard Brost and a sister, Betty Heberling.
Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon -Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday November 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Mr. Howard J. Masony, deacon of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to the American Heart Association of Northeast, Ohio 1689 East 115th St. Cleveland, OH 44106.
