Garnett Faye Boggs, 84, Homemaker, enjoyed her family
Garnett Faye Boggs, 84, of Elyria, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2003 in Elyria Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.She was born August 28, 1919 in Clendenin, West Virginia, and has lived in the Elyria Area for nearly 40 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her home and family was most important to her.
She is survived by three daughters: Betty White of Elyria, Debra Boggs of Elyria, and Joyce Boggs of Goshen, KY; six sons: Roger Walker of Crestwood, KY, Allie Walker of Chesapeake, OH, Clyde Boggs of Milan, OH, Thomas Boggs of Elyria, OH, William Boggs of Grafton, OH, and Albert Walker of Elyria, OH; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters: Molly, Patty, Mary, Lucy, and Mertle; and 4 brothers: Vernon, Homer, Herbert, and Noah.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde.
Friends may call the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home; 1201 Main Street, in Grafton on Monday from 7-9 p.m. with the funeral services on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Jim Gordon, pastor of Elyria Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in LaPorte Cemetery in Carlisle Township.
