Glenna Faye Reese, 78, Enjoyed crocheting and her family

Mrs. Reese was born, December 25, 1924 in Oak Hill and had lived in Grove City, Ohio, from 1953 until moving to Elyria in 1990.

Mrs. Reese had been Head Cook at the Southwest City Schools for many years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene, where she was a greeter and a member of Senior Adult Ministries. While in Grove City Mrs. Reese was very active in the Darbydale Nazarene Church where she was Sunday school teacher, a director of the teen programs and a church board member. She was also a member of the Elyria Jolly 60s group. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Reese is survived by a daughter, Betty Justice (Paul), three grandchildren: Melissa Beth Justice of Elyria, Julie Rachelle Sabo Brian) of Brunswick and Jeremy David Justice (Heather) of Aurora, Colorado and great grandson Cory Matthew Sabo. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Chester Edwin Reese in 1980, son Charles Edwin Reese and daughter Janet Kay Reese and parents, Hughey B. and Estella J. (nee Walls) Reese.

Friends may call Friday, November 28, 2003 at the Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler Family Chapel, 114 Second St., Elyria, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene, Route 113 and Clemens Ave., Elyria at 10:00 a.m. Rev. George Gribben of the church will officiate. Interment will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Horeb Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio.
