Patricia J. Mihalic, 73, Enjoyed her family and grandchildren
Patricia J. Mihalic, (nee Kirkpatrick), age 73, of Lorain, died Monday December 1, 2003 at the New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph following a brief illness.
She was born March 8, 1930 in Mansfield, Ohio and had been a resident of Lorain County for the past fifty years. A graduate of Mansfield High School, she was most recently employed as a sales associate in the coat and dress department of the Elyria Dillard's Department Store. She retired from that position in March of this year following thirteen years of service. Ms. Mihalic had previously been employed in a similar capacity by the Ted Jacobs Stores. She was also a former administrative aid for the Ohio Department of Employment Services.
A parishioner of Saint Jude Catholic Church in Elyria, she enjoyed life centered around her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters: Carole Dufresne of Weatherford, Texas, and JoAnne Snyder of Vermilion, a son: David Mihalic residing in Monroe, Michigan, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 Broadway - Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Frank P. Kosem, pastor of Saint Jude Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park - Amherst Township.
