George D. Bokor, 57, Employed by GM for 28 years
George David Bokor, age 57, of Brooklyn, and formerly of Grafton, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003 after suffering a heart attack at work.He was born Sunday, November 3, 1946 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, living in the Grafton area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Vietnam era as a helicopter mechanic and door gunner. After his military services he was employed by General Motors in Parma as an electrician for 28 years. He was a member of the Local UAW for many years.
Mr. Bokor enjoyed cooking, and talking about fishing, and caring about his family.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia married for only one year, four daughters: Rebecca Pozzie of Lorain, Ohio Rachel Bokor of Georgia, Tamara Boker of Columbus, Ohio, and Cassandra Collins of Cleveland, Ohio, four sons: George Bokor of Oklahoma, Alexander Bokor of Cleveland, Ohio Joseph Hamm of Brooklyn, Ohio, and Derek Hamm of Brooklyn, Ohio, five grandchildren, a sister Elaine Thomas of California, and a brother Robert Bokor of Elyria, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents George & Sarah Boker.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, on Friday, December 5, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
