Frances F. Morris, 82, Housekeeper, enjoyed gardening

Frances F. (nee Gray) Morris, 82 years of age, died on Friday, December 5, 2003, at St. John West Shore Hospital in Westlake, Ohio following a brief illness.

Mrs. Morris was born on March 18, 1921, in Barnesville, Ohio and has lived the last 61 years in Lorain. She was a waitress at several restaurants and until she was 80 years old she worked as a housekeeper.

She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church for more than 60 years and was a member of the Mary Martha Circle. She enjoyed gardening and was a Cleveland Indians fan.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter, Penny Mealler of Lorain, son Jack Morris of Lorain, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters Veda McMillen, and Bertha Okarma.

She is preceded in death by a son Leonard Morris in 1994, parents Ernest and Mary (nee Dewall) Gray, brothers Bill Gray, Clarence Gray, Wilbur Gray, and her sisters Goldie Piper, and Cora Watson.

Memorial services will be held on December 8, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio, with Rev. Dale Warrick, pastor of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Frances F. Morris will be buried privately in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
